The 7-gauge all steel X-Factor™ II deck is fabricated from top to bottom, providing industrial strength peace of mind that’s reinforced with an exclusive limited lifetime warranty. The deep deck design allows grass to move more freely through the deck, improving efficiency and quality of cut while the large discharge opening delivers superior dispersion of the cut grass.
Fitted with cold-forged aluminium spindles, these spindles operate 10 to 30 degrees cooler than cast iron spindles extending bearing life, plus they are lighter reducing the load on the deck.
Gravely’s exclusive constant belt-tensioning (CBT) system not only maintains a constant belt tension on the unit, it enhances the mower’s overall performance in several ways: it produces a consistent blade tip speed, which delivers a consistent quality of cut. It eliminates belt slippage that can damage belts and pulleys as well as improving engine efficiency whilst reducing the load, which saves fuel and extends engine life.
An adjustable high back full suspension seat delivers a high level of comfort and support for the operator with improved lateral stability while the foldable ROPS which comes standard, provides additional protection for the operator.
The Pro-Turn® 148 utilises the commercial grade HydroGear® ZT-3400 transmissions featuring heavy duty axles that are capable of handling more challenging tasks, as well as delivering better ground speed for increased mowing productivity Powered by the Kawasaki FX 691V V-twin engine, it features cast iron sleeves, a pressurised lubrication system and a heavy-duty multi-stage canister air filter demanded by commercial operators.
