Woodhouse Timber and TimberTech® have partnered up to bring the TimberTech AZEK® decking line to the Australian marketplace. The premium capped polymer decking, made without wood, provides unparalleled performance while boasting unrivalled design, with a Lifetime Limited Product Warranty and a 50-Year Fade & Stain Warranty.
TimberTech has changed the game with its investment in sustainability, recycling, and innovations such as Multi-Width Decking in both the TimberTech® AZEK® Vintage Collection® and Harvest Collection®. This decking is unique in the market as it is not only engineered to last longer than other composite decking, but it also has a beautiful and natural hardwood look.
The capped polymer (PVC) decking from TimberTech is made from up to 54% recycled plastic. The capped composite decking in its TimberTech PRO® and EDGE™ lines is composed of up to 80% recycled material. This sustainable decking solution provides premium performance and beauty while doing the right thing by the planet.
The TimberTech AZEK Vintage and Harvest collections also offer a premium solution to traditional lumber decking. It doesn’t require costly and timely sanding, staining, or sealing every year. Plus, no other decking material is available in such a wide array of colours and natural-inspired wood grain patterns.
Homeowners have long had the desire for a low maintenance decking product; capped polymer decking (PVC), with its no-wood make-up, certainly answers that need. Additionally, the crisp, natural aesthetic can’t be found in other competing decking materials. Available in a variety of price points that, when combined with its low maintenance, durability, and longevity, ultimately make it less impactful on the budget over time.
Woodhouse has been appointed as the exclusive Australian distributor of TimberTech AZEK® decking. This new partnership offers Australian decking specialists, landscapers, architects, and tradies easy access to the best-in-category product.
Earlier this year, the Vintage Collection® was featured on the popular Channel 7 TV show, Better Homes and Gardens with renowned Australian landscaper, Charlie Albone and experienced deck builder Adam Doville. Their backyard makeover included the installation of a multi-level decking area at the base of the garden using the colour English Walnut™. The ease of installation (no pre-drilling required and up to 30% lighter than competitor capped composite products) and natural timber look were highlighted on the show.
Local landscapers are fast becoming converts. Hopkins Construction and Design have used TimberTech decking on a number of their projects and have even included a TimberTech decking display as part of their new showroom in Melbourne. “Years in the carpentry game had me vowing to never use composite again and talking people out of it after bad experiences with many different types (of composite decking). Since discovering TimberTech, I’ve had to swallow my pride and I’m now the first person to recommend it over a traditional timber decking,” said Andrew Hopkins.
The Vintage Collection is available in Mahogany, Dark Hickory, English Walnut™, Coastline®. Each hue offers the perfect shade options for those seeking a cohesive and elegant colour palette. Stock in this range is available in two lengths (4.8 m and 6.0 m) and two widths (140 mm and 180 mm) with both widths 25mm thick, although these sizes have been rounded off from actual imperial sizing to metric equivalents.
Later this year, other TimberTech decking ranges will be available from Woodhouse including TimberTech PRO and TimberTech EDGE. This will ensure all levels of budgets and designs are catered to.
There are a number of useful resources available on the TimberTech website, including installation guides, videos, and the ability to request free samples. Plus, the TimberTech Deck Designer tool, which allows you to design your dream deck in real time.
