With about 2500 registered attendees and more than 100 exhibitors, The Landscape Show 2026 was the busiest event in the show’s history.
Melbourne’s Sportsbet Sandown Racecourse was buzzing from the moment the doors opened on The Landscape Show 2026. Contractors, designers, suppliers, maintenance professionals and students filled the exhibition floor, catching up with industry mates, exploring new products, and squeezing in one more conversation before heading to the next presentation.
“You could feel the energy throughout the venue. Every stand was busy, the presentations were packed, and wherever you stopped, people were talking about projects, opportunities and what’s next,” said Landscaping Victoria CEO Ritchie Hinton.
Standouts
Landscaping Victoria was grateful for support from Arborgreen, naming rights partner of The Landscape Show, for its ongoing support of both the event and the broader landscaping industry. Arborgreen’s display, complete with a pop-up forest, was a standout exhibition.
One of the biggest successes of this year’s show was the introduction of the Networking Hub. Throughout the day, the space hosted conversations between landscape designers, maintenance professionals, and landscape builders, creating new connections across the industry. The Hub concluded with a presentation from Beyond Blue speaker Luke Richards, whose personal story left a lasting impression on the audience.

Looking ahead
Innovation was another drawcard.
Supporting partner Ford Australia attracted plenty of attention in the ShapeScaper Live Demo Area with its Ranger Super Duty concept, showcased in collaboration with William Adams CAT and Supreme Green.
Across the exhibition floor, new partners Senix Tools and SoilWorx made a strong first impression, while Greenworks, Coolabah Turf, StrathAyr, Repurpose It, and Madewell Products delivered engaging displays.
Education sessions were equally popular. Charlie Albone’s presentation on ‘Greening the Vertical Space’ delivered practical insights, inspiration, and a look at projects currently on his drawing board. Thanks to ShapeScaper for bringing Charlie to the Show.
Next year
Panel discussions featured Thomas Fox from Repurpose It, Hamish Mitchell from Specialty Trees and AB Bishop from ABC Gardening Australia magazine on plant selection and ground prep. Naomi Barun from Enki Studio, Michael Casey from Evergreen Infrastructure, and Jela Ivankovic-Waters from The University of Melbourne also spoke about the importance of urban greening.
The enthusiasm didn’t end when the doors closed. The relationships built, ideas shared, and opportunities created throughout the day were proof that when the industry comes together, everyone moves forward.
