TAFE NSW’s  landscape, construction, and horticulture design at the 2025 Sydney Royal Easter Show features plants propagated across three TAFE NSW campuses – Richmond, Padstow, and Ryde campuses – specifically for the show.

This year’s exhibit includes a community and sustainable garden at the Southee Pavilion Forecourt, providing a peaceful space for visitors to relax. The display incorporates a mix of native Australian plants, herbs, and vegetables, and a timber deck and barn.

Kate Low, TAFE NSW Director Horticulture and Land Management, said TAFE NSW students started growing the plants for the show display in May 2024.

“The landscaping display is more than a garden – it’s a living classroom and a celebration of sustainable design. Our students and teachers have cultivated plants across three campuses to create this year’s feature at the Southee Pavilion Forecourt. Complete with a timber deck, barn, and a mix of natives and edibles, the exhibit highlights not only the skills of our emerging professionals, but also the values of community, sustainability, and practical learning,” Kate Low said.
