New leadership at Landscaping Victoria sees the previous CEO moving on after almost nine years with the organisation, and new CEO, Ritchie Hinton, stepping into the role.
Originally a qualified lawyer in his native United Kingdom, Ritchie has resided in Victoria since 2005. He has worked in both the commercial and not-for-profit (NFP) sectors, holding several CEO roles with Victorian NFP member-based associations.
An experienced management professional, Ritchie’s strengths include a disciplined and innovative approach to strategic planning and execution. Ritchie is currently the Chair and a Non-Executive Director of Vicsport, Victoria’s peak umbrella body for sport and recreation organisations. And of course, the new leadership at Landscaping Victoria.
Outside work, Ritchie enjoys watching his children play sport, exploring Victoria’s High Country, indulging in Melbourne’s foodie culture, and looking after his garden (of course!).
Speaking to LCM, Ritchie said, “I’m excited to join Landscaping Victoria and learn more about how we can continue to add value for our members. It’s clear LV already has an exciting range of opportunities and offerings, and I look forward to listening to, and working with, all our stakeholders to improve these even more and supporting as many practitioners as possible.”
