The MLSA Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner proudly celebrated the highly anticipated 2023 Awards of Excellence recently, honouring some remarkable people and projects, all of whom shape the face of the South Australian landscaping industry. With a record-breaking attendance of 380 guests, the evening was an extraordinary celebration of talent, innovation, and dedication within the landscaping sector.
The 2023 Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Saturday 18 November, was graced by the esteemed presence of the Honourable Blair Boyer, Minister for Education, Training and Skills, who delivered an inspiring keynote address, sharing insights and perspectives on the future of the landscaping industry.
This exceptional awards event saw the presentation of 24 awards across the areas of landscape design, construction, maintenance, plus special awards for dedication to the industry (Frank Ugody Memorial Award), best supplier to the industry (Craig Norman Memorial Award), Rising Star, and Trainee of the Year.
Overall, 14 South Australians and businesses were recognised for their outstanding achievements, representing the pinnacle of success and innovation in the field, whilst showcasing exceptional expertise and dedication that continues to redefine landscaping standards.
The MLSAs annual Awards of Excellence continue to celebrate success in the landscaping industry, which is paramount as it acknowledges the relentless commitment and creativity of professionals who transform outdoor spaces into breathtaking works of art. Landscaping not only enhances the aesthetics of our surroundings but also plays a crucial role in environmental conservation, providing green spaces that positively impact communities and wellbeing.
