Honda powered
The chipper is powered by either a pull-start Honda GX200 engine or the convenient electric key-start Honda GX200 engine, both delivering 5.5HP, and the power is transferred to the cutting disc via a twin belt-drive system activated by a single-lever blade engagement.
The heavy-gauge steel cutting disc, equipped with three special tool-steel blades, quickly transforms branches into manageable mulch, and the large, self-feeding hopper can safely accommodate branches up to 70mm in diameter, while the three fan blades on the back of the cutting disc deliver a powerful airflow, effortlessly ejecting the mulch through the 1270mm high-discharge outlet.
An adjustable deflector allows directing the mulched material into a trailer, wheelie bin, or garden bed, and an optional collection bag is available for those who would prefer it.
Safe and easy to use
For added safety, a lockout mechanism ensures the cutting disc is immobilised when sharpening or changing the blades, while for ease of movement the MC900 features a balanced design that distributes weight evenly. Large, heavy-duty pneumatic wheels and a conveniently positioned handle on the hopper make it simple to transport. A tow hitch option is also available for moving the chipper over longer distances.
