The new Masport MC900 chipper range has now landed on Australian shores. The three options of chipper include the pull-start Honda GX200-powered engine; an electric turn-key-start option of the 196cc Honda GX200-powered unit; and completing the range is the Briggs & Stratton XR950 pull-start chipper. All offer 6.5 horsepower and a twin belt-drive system with a three-blade cutting disk to quickly and easily turn branches into manageable mulch. The large, heavy-gauge steel flywheel produces a large amount of kinetic energy for an enhanced cutting performance, while the three fan blades attached to the flywheel effortlessly discharge the mulch through the 1270mm high-discharge outlet, which can be directed to your compostable material using the adjustable deflector. An optional chipper collection bag is also available to help dispose of or re-use broken-down mulch and chippings.
Safe
The new Masport MC900 premium chipper is ideal for gardens or lifestyle blocks. The large self-feeding hopper safely lets branches up to 70mm pass through the machine with ease through the singlelever blade engagement. A lockout mechanism allows the user to safely immobilize the cutting disc while changing the blades. For manoeuvrability, the MC900 has a balanced design to spread the weight with large heavy-duty wheels and positioned handle on the chute for easy transportation. The option of a tow hitch is also available for your vehicle to move the chipper longer distances.
