AEG Powertools

Providing better results within easy reach.

Regardless of the economic climate, it always makes good sense to stick with the one battery platform when adding power tools to your work kit.

AEG understands that ‘range’ is so important to landscapers and professional gardeners when selecting a brand, hence it has been working hard behind the scenes to expand its ever-growing catalogue of outdoor power equipment (OPE) – like the 500mm Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment featured in the last issue of LCM.

The latest addition to the OPE range is the 254mm (10” bar) Pole Saw Attachment. When added to a powerhead (18V or 58V – that’s right!) it extends your reach by around 2m, allowing you to work safely, keeping both feet on the ground when working overhead. No more balancing acts on dodgy ladders!

When using the 58-volt Power Head, the cutting capacity is up to 200mm with a chain speed of 8.6m/s.

When using the 18-volt Power Head, the pole saw can cut through branches up to 100mm in diameter and has a chain speed of up to 7.5m/s.

The Pole Saw Attachment has automatic chain lubrication to prolong bar and chain life as well as a tooled Chain Tensioning System to deliver precise chain tensioning.

These two additions complement the expanding OPE offering from AEG, which includes a core range of battery-powered Mowers, Blowers, Line Trimmers, Hedge Trimmers, Backpack Sprayers and Chainsaws – all of which are available in 58V and 18V models.

The 58V range, which also includes the new Brushcutter and Backpack Blower, both with powerful brushless motors that deliver plenty of grunt and longer battery run times, are heavy-duty products aimed at the serious landscaping and gardening contractor who use their OPE every day.

So, whichever battery platform suits your needs, you can stick with knowing that AEG has a range of power tools and outdoor power equipment that continues to grow with innovative new products that help you work smarter, not hard.

Check out the range online – you can get your AEG power tools and OPE via AEG Onsite Trade Solutions at Bunnings and now also at Adelaide Tools.
