Husqvarna — the world leader in robotic mowers for the past two decades, steps into the commercial playing field by introducing two robotic mowers developed specifically for landscaping and green care companies, with the aim of improving lawn quality and sustainability, while reducing costs and freeing up time.
Husqvarna robotic mowers are known for quietly and reliably cutting complex lawns, even in wet conditions, with minimal assistance required. Husqvarna Automower® is one of the few robotic mowers on the market that can easily handle steep slopes, automatically return to its charging station, as well as be controlled from anywhere in the world with connectivity.
The Professional Series takes all the benefits of Husqvarna robotic lawnmowers, with design features added specifically for commercial use. An ultra-silent drive in the robotic mower means a noise level of just 58-62 dB(A) giving the ability to cut silently in the day and at night without disturbing park users or residents of nearby areas, for great-looking lawns around the clock.
The ability to cut 24/7, and so quietly, makes Automower® ideal for maintaining lawns at hotels, libraries, cemeteries and the like.
Improved Job Control with Automower® Fleet Management System
HUSQVARNA FLEET SERVICES™ is a cloud-based solution that allows users to work smarter by machine optimisation, so the right products are used for the right tasks. Standard on the new 500-series, HUSQVARNA FLEET SERVICES™ givesoperators a complete overview of all robotic lawnmowers in the fleet, as well as full remote control from one unified system.
Through an online portal, operators can quickly see the robotic lawnmowers’ status and the geo-position of their fleet, on either a map or in a list in real-time. Operators are also able to control a variety of mower activities and settings with the management system, including the option to adjust the cutting height, making the mower start or stop cutting, return to its charging station and even turn on energy-saving mode with an ECO setting.
HUSQVARNA FLEET SERVICES™ comes with a service and maintenance portal, giving operators the ability to plan maintenance at regular intervals, reducing unexpected downtime or unplanned delays. Theft protection and position tracking are also available for security.
The Fleet web portal is available for Technicians and Fleet Managers, while the Fleet mobile app can be used by Team Leads and Operators. The mowers are equipped with cellular communication, ensuring HUSQVARNA FLEET SERVICES™ capabilities are available remotely.
The new series has a variety of features to easily handle complex areas, such as Penta-search, triple guide wires, and automatic passage handling. Penta-search means five search methods to find charging stations, and triple guide wires are for maximum flexibility to handle complex areas. Automatic passage handling guides the mower through narrow passages, allowing it to navigate even the most complex of spaces.
For improved lawn health, GPS-assisted navigation and a weather timer help ensure uniform coverage of complex lawns, while automatically adapting mowing frequency to lawn growth. Due to the machine’s self- fertilising cutting technique, grass does not require as much fertilisation when compared with other cutting techniques. Coupled with h ow Husqvarna Automower® cuts a bit at a time but often, means a denser, greener lawn that also prevents moss.
Husqvarna Automower® 550
The Husqvarna Automower® 550 is optimised for lawns with a capacity of up to 5000m2 and can handle slopes of up to 45 per cent (24°). It is connectivity enabled in the form of HUSQVARNA FLEET SERVICES™ through cellular networks and has Bluetooth capabilities. GPS assisted navigation and weather timer ensures uniform coverage of complex lawns, while automatically adapting mowing frequency to lawn growth. The Husqvarna Automower® 550 handles all types of lawns with perfect cutting results – even in rainy conditions. Remote Object Detection enables higher mowing speed and area capacity, while the robust construction provides durability and reliability. With a commercial user interface, the 550 is equipped with status LED indication and a sturdy and easy to manage switch for START/STOP functionality simplifying use for inexperienced operators and minimising serious impact on the mower in case of vandalism.
Husqvarna Automower® 535 AWD
The Husqvarna Automower® 535 AWD takes slope handling to another level. This quiet, connected mountain climbing lawnmower is designed for professional use, and manages 70 per cent (35°) inclines and rough terrain – with zero direct emissions and top performance. This all-wheel-drive robotic mower features technology that optimises the control of each wheel to enable superior operation even in the most demanding areas.
With an impressive slope performance, Automower® 535 AWD rewrites the rules for autonomous maintenance of green spaces, improving the safety of your workforce. A pivoting rear body design enables truly excellent manoeuvrability for navigation on complex lawns and through passages while considerably enhancing traction in rough terrain. The machine is also equipped with a remote object detection feature, Ultrasonic, which means that the Husqvarna Automower® 535 AWD robotic mower reduces speed as soon as it senses a nearby object. For extra robustness, wheel brushes and rubber bumper have been added to the body.
Whether you manage the lawns for sporting fields, golf courses, parklands or private property, you can rely on Automower® to provide impressive, healthy, and premium cut grass. With the lawn maintenance being handled robotically, your workforce is freed up to focus on more complex tasks, such as hedge trimming or tree care
