The countdown is on to enter Honda’s 2018 Innovation Competition
Honda is making their final call for Australian businesses, students and inventors to put together an award worthy masterpiece that is powered by a world class Honda engine. Honda’s 2018 Innovation Competition is open to all those who think they have what it takes to invent a new and innovative product using a Honda engine. The competition is for the “Best Honda Powered Innovation” with a prize pool worth $18,000 up for grabs.
National Sales Manager for Honda OEM, Erkan Bagdadi believes the competition underpins the company’s commitment to produce quality products and back Australian businesses.
“We’re asking for people to get creative, not be bound by preconceived ideas and develop an innovative and unique Australian product, which is powered by one of our Honda Engines.
We want the competition to stimulate new product development in Australia, grow local businesses and help the winners scale their inventions both here in Australia and overseas.
It’s also a great way for our customers to show us how our engines are turning their dreams into a reality like previous innovation competition winner, Atom Industries – Drillmaster,” said Bagdadi.
Powered by ever reliable Honda Engines, Drillmaster inventor John Notaras invented the world’s first 4-stroke engine powered drill with automatic reverse gear, which safeguards the operator against injury by reducing the likelihood of the auger snapping.
