Hitachi sign a new lease for Toowoomba site to service the Western Business Region

After six years operating out of the Dalby branch, which primarily provided service and parts, Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia Pty Ltd (HCA) have relocated to a larger and more centralised location at Toowoomba after signing a long term lease.

Toowoomba serves as the geographical central hub for the region with many businesses of local smaller towns accustomed to doing business there in preference to Brisbane.

HCA’s Brisbane and Toowoomba Branch Manager Chris Porter said, “The new location is positioned in the heart of Toowoomba’s industrial area on Carrington Road, and the branch has been expanded to be providing new and used machine sales, as well as providing parts and service sales to their western region customers.”

The new branch is positioned on a 6400m² block, with 50m² frontage for the display of Hitachi machines and a combined workshop/warehouse size of 820m² to accommodate for the servicing of machines and storage of machine parts.

The building is currently undergoing fascia remodelling to align with HCA’s corporate branding and reflect the national company branding identity.

Business has officially started at the Toowoomba premises with view to grow the team within the next financial year to better support customers within the region.

The recent relocation and new site activation forms part of the company’s growth strategy to consistently realign with the developing needs of customers. Chris Porter adds, “HCA currently provides machine sales and support to Queensland customers out of the Brisbane, Emerald, Mackay and Townsville branches. The addition of the new site in Toowoomba will enable HCA to better support and further reach Queensland customers across the construction, mining, quarry, waste and recycling industries, through a wholly-owned branch network and a dedicated 24/7 national customer service centre.”
