FERRIS® introduces the new ISX™3300 Zero Turn Mower powered by new Vanguard® BIG BLOCK™ EFI ETC to Australia.
The Ferris IS®3200 entered the Australian market in 2014, and since then a lot has changed. The IS3200 has evolved in that time, with the introduction of innovations like the Vanguard EFI system, Oil Guard system, and the Vanguard BIG BLOCK 37.0 Gross HP* engine, a first in turf cutting in Australia.
Ferris have continued this trend of innovation with the release of the new ISX3300. Featuring the new ForeFront™ Suspension System, the ISX3300 represents a significant step forward in operator comfort and stability.
Ferris zero turn mowers are the only commercial mowers that feature a suspension system developed by engineers with landscape contractors’ needs in mind. That means more than just masking operating vibration with a special seat. The ForeFront Suspension System on the ISX3300 uses upper and lower control arms and mower specific shocks to keep the front castors vertical throughout the range of travel. This controlled motion and increased suspension travel results in a smoother ride, more precise tracing of the terrain, and improved cut quality. The ForeFront Suspension also further reduces shock load on the machine and the operator, and means ground speed can be faster, and productivity higher. Teamed with a standard high back suspension seat with headrest, the ISX3300 raises the bar with operator comfort.
The ISX3300 chassis has been redesigned as well, with the rear bumper updated to allow for greater ground clearance when mounting curbs and loading onto trailers. Higher side walls also offer greater engine protection and allow for easy access for maintenance.
Of course, the ISX3300 features the powerhouse Vanguard 37.0 Gross HP* EFI engine with Oil Guard, extending oil change intervals up to 500 hours, and saving down time, while extending engine life. EFI technology is a closed loop system, providing more power and better fuel economy than carburetted engines.
Twin Hydro-Gear ZT-5400™ transmissions provide power to the rear wheels. These integrated transmissions do not require high pressure hoses, eliminating the possibility of burst hoses, and are commercially rated and fully serviceable.
Available with either 61″ and 72″ width side discharge cutting decks and there is even the option of a rear discharge cutting deck available in the 72″ size, perfect for any areas such as roadsides where thrown objects represent a hazard to people and property. Both deck sizes also feature the hugely popular twin-belt cutting deck system. Twin Optibelt® B section belts and carefully designed deep groove pulleys give maximum power transfer and belt life. In fact, the ISX3300 and all other twin-belt deck models feature an unbeatable 3 year limited belt warranty^! In fact Ferris have some of the best warranties in the industry, including 5 years^ on all suspension related components, and an overall limited machine warranty of 4 years^ (48 months) or 500 hours, whichever occurs first.
