The all new Ultima Series includes the ZT range and the professional-grade, feature packed ZTX range. Both fitted with premium Kawasaki engines that cut across large areas with ease, along with Dual Hydro-Gear™ ZT Transmissions for powerful, consistent performance and a smooth ride.
Built tough for demanding jobs, the Ultima Series features a continuous 9-gauge tubular steel frame for enhanced strength boasting heavy-duty fabricated decks from 117cm (46”) to a huge 152cm (60”), giving you added durability, productivity and peace of mind for years to come.
Quality cutting and stability is at the Ultima’s core. The range has an offset front axle that delivers precise trimming for a professional cut with fewer clumps and finer clippings, as well as premium tyres for increased stability and traction. Stability and control are enhanced with an improved floor pan design and a soft grip rubber inset offering less vibration that gives you a smoother, more comfortable ride.
The Ultima Series offers next-level comfort. The fully adjustable command centre is designed for ease of use and control from top to tail. Patented ergo lap bars with over-molded grips offer comfortable mowing for larger areas. The automotive-inspired, fully adjustable high back seat plus rubber floor mats featured on the ZT range deliver smooth, comfortable cutting at maximum forward speeds of up to 12km/h. Additionally, the ZTX range, which can cut comfortably at up to 14km/h, features advanced polymer seat isolators and padded armrests for the ultimate in all day comfort.
The Ultima’s seamless maintenance features will also impress with a highly accessible hinged floor pan for easy deck access, as well as maintenance-free spindles that make routine maintenance quick and easy, meaning more time mowing and less time maintaining your zero turn.
Smart extras will have you working efficiently through your workday like electric PTO for easy engagement and disengagement of the blades, simple dial-in cutting height adjustment with 15 positions, a handy onboard multi-tool and in-built LED headlights for low light work. The addition of the Rollover Protection System (ROPS) on the ZTX range provides added safety flexibility for professional operators.
The Cub Cadet Ultima Series launches this summer with the ZT range featuring the ZT1 46 (46” fab deck) and ZT2 54 (54” fab deck), both with 23hp Kawasaki engines. The series also includes the ZTX range starting with the ZTX5 48 (48” fab deck) powered by a 23hp Kawasaki engine, as well as the ZTX5 54 (54” fab deck) and ZTX5 60 (60” fab deck), both powered by 24hp Kawasaki engines.
The Ultima ZT Series offers a 3-year domestic warranty and a 90-day commercial warranty. The ZTX series offers a 1-year commercial unit warranty for added peace of mind.
