Compact Power Packs

Wacker Neuson is a specialist in the compact excavator segment. In addition to conventional tracked excavators, the product range includes mobile excavators and Zero Tail models without any overhang. The smallest Zero Tail model EZ17 with an operating weight of 1.7 tonnes plays to its strengths in confined spaces.

The EZ17 Zero Tail excavator from Wacker Neuson delivers powerful performance in a compact package. The large volume diesel engine combined with LUDV (Load Sensing System) and the new cooling system makes work even easier and more efficient – even with heavy loads. Up to four additional control circuits are available and turn the excavators into versatile tool carriers. The canopy can be removed in a few easy steps, which means that even low passages are no problem.

The lifting lugs built into the canopy roof ensure a simple and quick moving or loading of the machine via 2-point lifting bridles. Easily removable covers and the engine hood that opens far to the side ensure excellent service and maintenance accessibility. In addition, maintenance is facilitated through the clear layout of the filter, the tiltable seat console and the easily removable side access panels. The robust design of the excavator ensures a long service life.

High Flexibility In Use

Zero overhang and the compact dimensions – the track width is only 2.3m – result in high mobility on the construction site. The solid design of the Zero Tail excavator also stands out. This not only results in an impressive stability but also in a long unit service life. The high thermal resistance not only allows for working under full load at more than 45°C ambient temperature, no other brand can do this. The intuitive and convenient operation as well as the ergonomics of the cabin in the new EZ17 ensures maximum end user comfort. The standard skylight provides for optimal all-round visibility and safety when loading. No tail swing with the most compact dimensions results in unrestricted mobility on the construction site.
